Kass-Winters RKGK

The generals of hostile factions within the War of Steel, although holding some respect and affections for each other, Kyral Kass and Amelia Winters are an example of a modern Romeo and Juliet. Opposed by some within their nations due to a conflict of interest, and those within foreign nations due to somewhat unevenly applied qualms about morality, their relationship is one of redemption, and one of fortifying a powerful Northern Axis against the increasingly powerful South Lands.

Despite the serious sounding nature of this, however, their private life tends to be filled with rather humorous antics and shenanigans, from what I hear.

The idea of the entire relationship between Kass and Winters was actually brought up by a friend, and after some initial hestitation, I found myself rather fanciful with the concept. It offered a type of bridge allowing us to progress with the individual plots of our respective nations, and coincidentally, it was also a nice aside from the constant looming genocide, revolution, violence, and general despair typically associated with our lore.

That being said, it is not without opposition from other roleplayers in our group, mostly due to the 'whoring faggotry' of two women loving each other, and surprisingly this being more of an outstanding issue than wholesale genocide. This drawing in particular alone attracted quite a shitfest, with the other roleplayer in question calling upon moderation to remove it, and despite moderation finding little wrong with it, proceeded to kick up enough dirt to get it removed at the cost of being banned for a week - just desserts - but the whole situation could have easily been avoided altogether had he not overreacted.

I digress. It is a cute relationship, and I immensively enjoy it. After several years of writing about war and violence, it is refreshing to write about romance instead for a change.
