Cardinal Frauke Weiss

Cardinal Frauke Weiss, also serving as an Archbishop for the Grand Cathedral of Favonius, is one of the most powerful individuals within the Church of Hijjia, serving the Pontiff as a personal advisor - and in some cases, as a type of guardian. Known as the 'Holy Mother', a title granted to her by Pontiff Maxmillian I, little is known about Cardinal Weiss aside from her zealotry and unusual closeness to the Pope.

What is known about Cardinal Weiss is that she is a very effective orator, and despite her fanatical beliefs, she has demonstrated an effective command over the several knightly orders of Hijjia, frequently announcing the beginning of crusades decreed by the Pontiff. It is unknown where her fanaticism and intense hatred of heathens originated from, whether it was an experience in her past, or something following her ordaining as Cardinal, but these emotions have defined Weiss as a very indisposable member of the Church.

Being the personal advisor to the Pontiff, Cardinal Weiss often serves as his voice, stating his proclaimations, and managing administrative duties. Likewise, this has made her an incredibly influential member of the Church, with the Cardinal using her power to distance the Pontiff from any perceived heathens that may request his audience, resulting in the isolated nature of the Pope with the rest of the world. Despite this, Cardinal Weiss is still regarded as one of the Pontiff's favorite subjects, and is always ready at his any beck and all.
